Rotary Carnival Update

Record number of characters to appear

Within just one a month of opening up character registration, we have already exceeded last year’s characters.
In just 4 weeks, we hit the 65 character target from last year and at time of writing this, we have 75 registered and expect a further 30 from across the groups that will be attending.

Beach House Grounds (BHG)

More space, for more characters, more activities, more fun, MORE COSPLAY!!!!!

Where will the main Rotary Carnival event be?

It will still be at Steyne Gardens, this is in addition to the main event.

What days will you be there?

As usual, we will attend both Sunday and Monday, but this year, more characters will be attending on Sunday too

Will you be in the Parade?

Yes, we will still be in the parade, but walking onto BHG

How much will it cost?

Just like the main Carnival event, it is FREE to attend!
There will of course be some activities that have a charge, to cover costs.

Is there parking?

The is open air parking next to Beach House Grounds, as well as on street parking as well as Multi Storey parking a few minutes walk away.

Are there toilets?

There are no public toilets in the grounds, but Coast Cafe are allowing use of theirs.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

It is on flat level ground, which is predominantly laid to grass. There are paved areas leading to all car parks and public areas outside of the event.
